About Me

Hi, I'm Janelle

I'm a digital marketer & Designer who handles the full stack — email, web, graphics, content, and strategy — for a luxury hospitality brand, end to end, solo.

I move fluidly between writing campaign copy, building emails, managing a WordPress site, and designing the visuals that hold it all together, always grounded in user research and a clear brand voice.

Outside of design, I love hiking, sightseeing, and traveling. I’m based in the Monterey, CA where I am always inspired by the coastal beauty around me.

Digital Marketing Manager

Pabble Beach Resorts  ·  Jan 2026 – Present

  • Own end-to-end digital marketing across multiple resort properties — email, web, graphics, and content — as the sole marketer handling strategy through execution.
  • Manage and update the resort website in WordPress, including content edits, page builds, and ongoing UX and accessibility improvements.
  • Lead email marketing production, from campaign strategy and copywriting through build and deployment in Acoustic Connect and Stripo.
  • Design graphics and visual assets for campaigns, events, retail, and dining promotions using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
  • Write and edit brand copy across web, email, and print touchpoints, maintaining a consistent editorial voice across seasonal campaigns and signature events.
  • Manage the Duke's Club member re-engagement program, balancing personalization with list health and compliance.
  • Monitor campaign and site performance using Google Analytics, applying insights to refine content, targeting, and channel strategy.

  • Conducted 5 user interviews and usability tests to uncover key booking pain points (e.g., unclear where to purchase gift certificates).
  • Mapped task flows and created personas to guide design direction.
  • Selected as Technical Artist Intern by Humana Machina to continue texture mapping and model refinement.
  • Enhanced and tested a responsive prototype UI in Figma, reducing user confusion and improving booking success rates in usability tests.

Technical Artist Intern

  • Collaborated as Art Director on a Converged Mixed-Reality (CMR) racing game using Unity and LIDAR scans.
  • Created and optimized 3D assets in Autodesk Maya, Blender, and Photoshop to merge physical and virtual environments.
  • Selected as Technical Artist Intern by Humana Machina to continue texture mapping and model refinement.
  • Improved asset realism through UV unwrapping, texture baking, and geometry cleanup for use in real-time engines.
